          Before the dark fell on the Sunday evening in Goa, the stage for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2016 grand finale had been ostentatiously set to witness the final battle amongst the top 5 singers of the show. In a toe-to-toe combat, Kushal Paul won the title beating the other four contestants. Hailing from Kolkata, the 17-year-old Kushal Paul bagged the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2016 trophy. Since the audition, Paul had been consistently giving power-packed performances to assert his singing potency. In the grand finale, Paul had a collision with Sachin Kumar Valmikan, Jagpreet Bajwa, Rupali Jagga and Jyotica Tangree.

        The hunt for India’s most talented singer has come to an end with Kushal Paul bagging the much-coveted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2016 trophy. Sachin Kumar ended the show being the first runner-up. Jagpreet Bajwa, a visually impaired Saregamapa 2016 contestant got enough votes to position himself 3^rd. While Rupali and Jyotica managed to place themselves at 4^th and 5^th respectively. All the top 5 finalists brilliantly displayed their singing skills to bewitch the audience and judges one last time at a massive star-studded finale in Goa, which featured some electrifying performances from Kailash Kher, Armaan Malik, Sukhwinder Singh, and Benny Dayal. All the 5 contestants were given medals. Being the winner, Kushal Paul walked away with the trophy and a brand new Elite I-20 Hyundai.
